I’m a portrait photographer. My passion for the art of portrait photography grew over the last ten years whilst travelling the world serving as an Officer in the British Army, capturing portraits of colleagues working in some of the most challenging environments in the world. The challenge of recording fleeting expressions of individuals that would last long after the memories of the moment faded, fascinated me. This heavily influenced my decision to leave the Army and pursue portrait photography full time.
My portraits are inspired by a belief that everyone has an individual expression; my work is a simple record of this, releasing timeless character and memories for years to come.
